Delivery On The Day (Guaranteed Delivery Monday - Saturday)
Your balloon will be sent by Royal Mail Next Day Tracked Delivery.
This guarantees your balloon will have a delivery between 7am and 5pm on your chosen day (Monday to Saturday).
No signature is required and the box can be left with a neighbour or in a safe place if this option has been chosen.

If for some reason a delivery attempt has not been made on the chosen day you will be entitled to a £5 refund.

1st Class (Free but not a guaranteed delivery date)
Your balloon will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post and will be dispatched the day before delivery is requested. Please note that 1st Class deliveries are not guaranteed to arrive on a specific day. If your balloon requires a guaranteed delivery date you should choose any other delivery option.

While Royal Mail deliver 80 to 90% of 1st Class post next day, there is no guarantee your balloon will arrive on the day chosen.
Sorry but refunds for late delivery on balloons sent by 1st Class mail cannot be given. Please note 1st Class deliveries do not require a signature and therefore we have no way to track your order.


Delivery Before 1pm or 9am (Guaranteed Delivery Monday - Saturday)
Your balloon will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
This guarantees your balloon will have a delivery before your chosen time on your chosen day (Monday to Saturday).
A signature will be required from anyone at the delivery address.

If for some reason a delivery attempt has not been made by your chosen time on the chosen day you will be entitled to a £9 refund for the 9am option or a £5 refund for 1pm option.

Please note the the delivery time chosen in a guaranteed BEFORE time, before 1pm can arrive anytime after 7am.


If recipient is out
If no-one is available at the delivery address to sign for the balloon (where a signature is required) a card will be left informing the recipient that a delivery attempt has been made. This card gives a phone number and clear instructions on how to get the balloon re-delivered or where the balloon can be picked up from. If the option has been chosen the box may be left with a neighbour or in a safe place.

Please note re-delivery same day may not be possible.


BFPO Deliveries
British Forces deliveries cannot be guaranteed to arrive on the exact day selected and cannot be sent if the final destination is outside the UK.


Strike Action
In the case of a strike by Royal Mail we will use an alternative courier to make deliveries. Please note guarantee times (1pm & 9am) do not apply and deliveries will take place before the end of the working day.

Q. How are the balloons delivered?
A. In a large white box, fully sealed with no clue as to the contents, the gift will be a complete surprise.

Q. Who delivers your balloons?
A. All balloons are delivered by Royal Mail or DPD.

Q. At what time will my balloons be delivered?
A. This depends on the delivery type you choose. You can choose guaranteed before 9am, guaranteed before 1pm, or 1st class post which is dependent on the post round delivery time.

Q. Can I get an afternoon delivery?
A. Sorry, this is not available.

Q. What happens if nobody is home?
A. A card will be left giving instructions on where to collect the box or how to arrange re-delivery with Royal Mail. If you wish this to be left with a neighbour please advise in advance (via email) and a note can be placed on the box with this request. (There is no guarantee that this can always be done)

Q. Can the box be left in a porch or doorway?
A. No, sorry. The box requires a signature on delivery and cannot be left without one.

Q. I need a signature to prove this was delivered, can I get one?
A. Yes, but this takes about 3-5 days to arrive.

Q. I need to change the address/message/other details. Can I do this after the order has been confirmed?
A. Yes, we are more than happy to change anything. However we can only do this as long as the box has not been despatched.

Q. My box is being delivered today. I need to change the address. Is this possible?
A. No, an address cannot be altered after the box has been despatched.

Q. Can you guarantee a Saturday delivery with Special Delivery option?
A. Yes! We now offer Saturday as a guaranteed delivery day.

Q. If I want to send a gift anonymously, is this possible?
A. Yes, no information other than your message for the card is ever passed to recipients, even if we are called by phone.

Q. Can you guarantee exact day deliveries for British Forces PO numbers?
A. BFPO deliveries cannot be guaranteed to arrive on the exact day selected and can not be sent if the final destination is outside the UK.
 Refunds
Late Delivery Refunds
If for some reason (excluding adverse weather, strikes, blockades or natural disasters) a delivery attempt has not been made on your chosen day and your delivery option was Special Delivery, Balloon Monkey will give you a £5 refund for late 1pm deliveries or £9 refund for late 9am deliveries.

Please note Hospital are excluded from the Saturday delivery guarantee.

Sorry but refunds for late delivery on balloons sent by 1st Class mail cannot be given.

Deliveries to some remote parts of Scotland will take up to 2 days, please check below for postcodes of areas affected by these rules. Refunds for late delivery to these areas will only be issued if enough time was allowed when ordering.

Damaged, Lost or Missing Goods Refunds
If a item is missing from your order or damaged we will replace it or refund you for the cost of the missing or damaged item only, not the whole order.

If for some reason your balloons are delayed and you no longer require them, or arrive damaged and a full refund is requested, we reserve the right to request that they are either refused at the point of delivery or posted back to us. (We will re-imburse any postage costs incurred)

Damaged or lost orders must be reported to us within 7 days of the chosen delivery date.

Under any other circumstances, refunds are given at the discretion of the management.

Complaints
We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 1 working day and resolve complaints within 3-4 working days.

 Terms and Conditions
1. Nothing contained within these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Balloon Monkey cannot be held responsible for incorrect information supplied by the customer. Incorrect address details can delay delivery and Balloon Monkey cannot be held responsible.

3. Claims for balloons that are delivered damaged must be reported within seven days of delivery date.

4. By virtue of the Distance Selling Regulations once the goods have been despatched we are exempt from giving cancellation rights as the goods we are providing are perishable.

5. We reserve the right to substitute your balloon with a similar choice if your chosen balloon is out of stock. Where time allows before despatch we will contact you to give you the option of cancelling the order or accepting the substituted goods. Please note the colour and shape of the additional "bunch" balloons may vary to that shown when ordering.

6. Free chocolates are given whilst stocks last. We reserve the right to substitute your chocolates with a similar choice.

7. The average flying time for a helium filled foil balloon is 4-6 days, and in many cases longer, customers should note that Royal Mail may store parcels in cold temperatures causing helium to deflate, however when placed back into a warm environment the helium rapidly expands again.

8. Once the delivery has been signed for at the given address it is no longer the responsibility of Balloon Monkey. Refunds cannot be given if the balloon is not passed on to the named recipient.

9. If no one is available to sign for box when the delivery is attempted the delivery company will not be able to re-deliver on the same day. Re-delivery will be made within the timeframe set out by the delivery company and is beyond our control.

10. Balloon Monkey cannot be held responsible for images uploaded. You are responsible for anything you upload, please make sure you own the rights of uploaded images. We cannot and do not monitor the content of the images you upload. If your images infringe on someone's trademark, copyright, patent or trade secret, it is your responsibility and your liability and not that of Balloon Monkey.

11. Photo Balloons sent by our service are for decoration purposes and are not intended as toys. Keep uninflated balloons away from children. Discard broken balloons immediately. Not suitable for children.

12. We reserving the right to cancel or refuse orders for items offered at an incorrect price. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.

13. There is no contract between Balloon Monkey and the customer for an item until Balloon Monkey accepts the customer order by setting the "Order Processed & Packed" status to "Yes" in the online tracking system available from the Balloon Monkey homepage. Until that time, Balloon Monkey is within its rights to not accept or cancel any customer order.

14. Acceptance of payment by Worldpay does not constitute acceptance of customer order. Acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Balloon Monkey sets the "Order Processed & Packed" status to "Yes" in the online tracking system (whether or not you check this status).

15. If for any reason Balloon Monkey is unable to dispatch your order a full refund will be given. Balloon Monkey cannot be held liable for any consequences or costs further than that of the full amount paid for the balloons.

16. By submission of the order the customer accepts these terms and conditions and authorizes Balloon Monkey through WorldPay to take payment for balloons selected.

17. In the case of a strike by Royal Mail we reserve the right to use an alternative courier to make deliveries. Please note in these circumstances guarantee times (1pm & 9am) do not apply and deliveries will take place before the end of the working day.

18. PRIVACY POLICY: We use the personally identifiable information we collect in order to respond to your availability request. We will never pass this information onto third parties.
